Terms of Service
Effective August 17, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Redress website and services. If you have executed a Property Tax Consulting Agreement with Redress, that agreement controls your engagement, and controls over these terms wherever the two conflict.
1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing or using the Redress website, onboarding flow, or related services (the “Services”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using the Services on behalf of an entity, such as the owner of a property, you represent that you are authorized to bind that entity to these terms.
2. The Services
Redress is a service of Vectus AI, Inc., a Delaware corporation doing business as Redress. We review property tax assessments, build valuation cases, and prepare, file, and pursue administrative appeals on behalf of property owners under a signed Property Tax Consulting Agreement.
The website, including the assessment lookup and the estimate tools, is informational. An engagement begins only when a Property Tax Consulting Agreement is executed, and that agreement, together with its fee schedule and property schedule, governs the engagement.
3. Estimates are illustrations
Savings figures shown on the website and in the onboarding flow are illustrations, not quotes, offers, or guarantees. They rest on stated assumptions, such as average reductions among successful appeals and typical effective tax rates, and your actual outcome depends on your property’s facts, the evidence, the venue’s decisions, and each year’s certified values and millage. Assessment data shown on the website comes from public records, which can contain errors or fall out of date.
4. No legal, appraisal, or tax advice
Redress is a property tax consulting firm, not a law firm or an appraisal firm. Nothing on the website and nothing in the Services creates an attorney-client relationship, and no content on the website is legal, appraisal, accounting, or tax advice for your specific situation.
5. Electronic records and signatures
The onboarding flow uses electronic records and electronic signatures. By signing electronically you consent to do business electronically, and you agree that your typed signature carries the same force as a handwritten one. We retain signed documents, their cryptographic fingerprints, and signing metadata as evidence of execution.
6. Your information and authority
You agree that the information you provide, including property details, contact information, and entity names, is accurate to your knowledge, and that you have authority to provide it and to sign for the entity you name.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Services to violate applicable law, infringe third-party rights, interfere with the security or integrity of the website or its infrastructure, scrape or bulk-extract data, or build a competing product. You are responsible for the accuracy of submissions made under your name.
8. Intellectual property
Redress and its licensors own the website and the Services, including all software, content, marks, and documentation. Except as expressly granted, no rights are transferred. Feedback you provide may be used by Redress without restriction.
9. Fees
Use of the website is free. Fees for an engagement are set exclusively by the executed Property Tax Consulting Agreement and its fee schedule: a one-time contingent fee on first-year realized savings, and nothing if no reduction is achieved.
10. Disclaimers
The website is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Redress disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Redress does not warrant any particular appeal outcome; assessment review can move a value in either direction, and warranties and standards of care for an engagement are stated in the Property Tax Consulting Agreement.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to use of the website. Redress’s total liability arising out of website use will not exceed one hundred dollars. Liability relating to an executed engagement is governed by the Property Tax Consulting Agreement, not by these terms.
12. Termination
We may suspend or end access to the website for conduct that violates these terms. Termination of an engagement is governed by the Property Tax Consulting Agreement.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Exclusive venue for any dispute arising under these terms lies in the courts of Orleans Parish, Louisiana. This provision does not govern the venue of any tax appeal or proceeding, which is fixed by law.
14. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always posted at redresstax.com/terms. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised terms.
15. Contact
Questions about these terms should be sent to founders@redresstax.com.
