Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Contact and onboarding information: name, email, phone, entity name, title, and anything you provide in the onboarding flow or in conversations with us.
• Property information: addresses, parcel and tax bill numbers, assessment values, and property details you submit or confirm.
• Signature records: when you sign electronically, we keep the signed document text, its cryptographic fingerprint, your typed signature, the consent language you agreed to, and signing metadata including IP address, browser details, and timestamps. These are retained as evidence of execution.
• Usage data: pages visited, request metadata, and diagnostic logs.
• Public records: we maintain and process assessment roll data published by taxing authorities, including assessed values, taxes, and appeal outcomes. This data is public record, and we display parts of it back to you when you look up a property.

2. How we use information

• To operate the website, look up properties on the assessment roll, and produce estimates.
• To prepare, file, and pursue your appeal once you engage us, including preparing filings and presenting evidence to the relevant offices.
• To communicate with you about your engagement, deadlines, and support.
• To meet legal, accounting, and audit obligations, including retaining signature evidence.
• To maintain and improve the services.

3. How we share information

• Service providers: cloud hosting and database providers, scheduling tools, email and communication platforms, and similar infrastructure partners, under confidentiality and data-protection terms.
• Geocoding: address text you type into the property search is sent to our geocoding provider to power suggestions.
• Taxing authorities and tribunals: when you engage us, we share what an appeal requires with the assessor, the county review board, the state tax commission, and similar bodies, as part of representing you.
• Professionals engaged in the work under your agreement, such as appraisers or counsel, where a matter calls for them.
• Legal disclosure when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect rights, property, or safety.
• Business transfers in the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to the protections in this policy.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Storage and security

Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is restricted to those who need it to operate the service. Financial information furnished in support of an appeal is submitted subject to applicable state confidentiality protections (in Louisiana, La. R.S. 47:2327), and we identify such materials as confidential when submitting them.

We retain engagement records, including signed agreements and their signing metadata, for as long as needed to evidence the engagement and to meet legal, audit, and operational obligations.

5. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address below. We respond to verified requests within the period required by applicable law. Note that signed agreements and their evidence records may be retained where the law allows, even after a deletion request, because they document a legal act.

6. Children

The services are not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice.
